Initial configuration of Hansgrohe RainBrain
The configuration and welcome screens are offered each time the RainBrain
is turned on until the initial installation is performed.
Configuration with Hansgrohe showers:
Perform the following steps:
Figure 1: Select your language by pressing the corresponding flag button

on the display (German is default setting). Press Next.
• Figure 2: Select the desired temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit) on the
display. Press Next.
• Figure 3: In the shower assignment screen, press:
Hansgrohe products. Press Next.
• Figure 4a/4b: Select head, hand and side showers from the Hansgrohe
assortment. Press Next.
• Figure 5: Set up the music function*. Required accessories: an audio ampli-
fier and speakers for music playback.
• Figure 6: Select the desired showers for the cascade function. Press Next.
• Figure 7: Conclude the configuration by selecting OK.
• The basic image will be displayed.
Configuration with showers by other manufacturers:
Perform the following steps:
• Figure 1: Select your language by pressing the corresponding flag button
on the display (German is default setting). Press Next.
• Figure 2: Select the desired temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit) on the
display. Press Next.
• Figure 3: In the shower assignment screen, press: Other products. Press
Next.
• Figure 8: Select a connection by pressing an empty button field.
• Figure 9a and 9b: Select a suitable icon and press OK.
• Figure 10: Select the respective icon for the connected fittings and showers
(up to 5 possible). A blank field is selected for unused connections. Press
Next.
• Figure 5: Set up the music function*. Required accessories: an audio ampli-
fier and speakers for music playback. Press Next.
• Figure 6: Select the desired showers for the cascade function. Press Next.
• Figure 7: Conclude the configuration by selecting OK.
• The basic image will be displayed.
All settings and symbols can be changed later in the settings menu by pressing
these keys.
Press the Start/Stop setting of the rotary knob first so that none of the
shower functions are turned on. Press the keys until the system level menu is
displayed.
