Hose Connections
Do not disconnect tool, hoses or fittings while the
power source is running or if the hydraulic fluid is
hot. Hot hydraulic fluid can cause serious burns.

Connecting Hoses
1. Move the flow lever on the power source to the
OFF position.
2. Stop the hydraulic power source.
3. See the illustration. Connect a return hose to the
return port on the power source, then to the power
source return port on the valve. Connect the other
return hose to the tool return port on the valve, then
to the return port on the tool.
4. Connect a pressure hose to the pressure port on
the tool, then to the tool pressure port on the valve.
Connect the other pressure hose to the power
source pressure port on the valve, then to the pres-
sure port on the power source.
Disconnecting Hoses
1. Move the flow lever on the power source to the OFF
position.
2. Stop the hydraulic power source.
3. Disconnect the hoses in the reverse order of the
connection sequence.
4. Install dust caps over the ports to prevent
