Thermostat
During operation, the integrated thermostat switches the appliances on and off to ensure a constant
temperature (provided that the appliance is plugged in). This is indicated by the red (4) and green (5)
indicator light cycling on and off.
Temperature indicator light
During the heating up process the red indicator light (4) lights up. Once the desired temperature is reached
the red indicator light (4) goes off and the and the green indicator light (5) lights up.
Before First Use
• Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.
• Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage.
• Clean the appliance with a moistened soft cloth.
NOTE: When using the appliance for the first time, a slight odour might occur. This doesn't cause any harm
nor does it mean that your appliance does not work properly. Make sure that the room is well ventilated!
Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid
suffocation.
Operation
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not
touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation.
- Place the appliance on a stable and heat resistant.
- Connect the AC power cord (7) to the AC socket (6) of the appliance.
- Connect the power plug of the AC power cord (7) to a properly installed wall socket.
- Press the on/off switch (3). The red (4) indicator light lights up and the heating process starts. This may
take between 4 – 10 minutes, depending on the respective room temperature.
- Once the heating up process is finished, the red indicator light (4) goes off and the green indicator light
(5) lights up.
- Place the kitchenware with the foods to be kept warm onto the keep warm plate (2).
Depending on the kitchenware used, it may leave scratches on the surface of the keep
warm plate. We only recommed to use heat resistant kitchenware.
After the appliance has heated up, you can also use it without the power cable (cordless). The
keeping warm plate will keep its temperature for approx. 60 minutes.
After, use always make sure that the appliance is shut off and disconnected from the mains.
