INSTALLATION USING THE CAR SEAT BELTS (illustrations 34-36)
• Set the handle to position A - fg.4.
• Fasten the clasp of the car seat belt and pass the abdominal strap through the two lower
belt guides (fg.34).
• Next, pass the chest strap through the upper belt guides on the retractor side (fg.35).
• Check that the strap does not pass underneath the backrest position changing mechanism
(fg.36).
• Bear in mind the baby's weight when choosing the position of the backrest in the vehicle:
A: up to 5 kg. (fg.7)
B: up to 5 kg. (fg.8)
C: CANNOT BE USED
D: from 5 to 10 kg. (fg.10)
NOTE: Adjust the tightening of the belt every time you change the position of the backrest.
• Lastly, tighten the belt by pulling the chest strap (fg.37).
REMOVING THE UPHOLSTERY (illustrations 38-43)
• Remove the foot cover by unfastening the clips or Velcro (fg.38) and undo the hooks on the
sides of the frame (fg.39).
• Take the hood off (fg.40).
• Open the harness clasp (fg.41).
• Remove the chest protectors and the baby cushion. Pass the harness straps through the
openings in the upholstery (fg.42).
• Take the upholstery off beginning with the front part.
• Lastly, release the upper rear hook from the backrest (fg.43).
UNISYSTEM (illustrations 44-46)
This exclusive fastening system means the PrimaFix can be used on the following pushchairs:
Vintage2, Vintage3, Downtown, S4, S4 Reverse, STwinner, Jazz.
On all of them the fitting procedure is the following:
• Put the parking brake on.
• Place the PrimaFix on the pushchair, facing backwards.
• Line the PrimaFix Unisystem fasteners up with the slots (fg.44).
• Press downwards until the PrimaFix clicks into place and a green signal appears in both of
the side windows of the fasteners (fg.45).
• To remove the PrimaFix, press and then release the red button of both fasteners (window will
have a red signal) and pull upwards to release it from the chassis of the pushchair (fg.46).
FITTING THE MOSQUITO NET (according to model)
• Unfold the hood. Unfasten the zip on the top part of the hood and take the mosquito net out.
• Spread it out, fasten the elastic band and the clasps on the sides.
• To take the mosquito net off, unfasten the side clasps and the elastic band. Roll it up and
store it in the pocket.
