2.7 SLAVE function switch
For normal flash photography, the mecablitz is mounted in
the camera's accessory shoe and triggered by way of the
synch contact in the flash unit's foot or a synch cable
connected to the camera. For this mode set the SLAVE fun-
ction switch
For operation as a SLAVE flash unit with cordless flash trig-
gering, the SLAVE function switch
on 1 or 2, depending upon the desired SLAVE mode. For
more details about the SLAVE modes see page 62.
The position of the operating mode selector
is of no significance for the SLAVE function in
the cordless Metz remote system.
