Setting "On" is only possible with the Chipcard inserted correctly.
Confirm the desired setting with [OK].

To save the setting and return to the main menu, push [RETURN] twice.

The main menu appears.
When using the Chipcard function, we recommend activating the password function.
(See "Password Menu", page 39). This ensures that the Chipcard function cannot be
deactivated by unauthorised persons.
2.3.2. Trigger
The print action can be triggered in several ways.
In the delivery condition, all trigger types are switched on.
Push [MENU].

"Date/Clock time" appears.
Push [u] twice.

"Settings" appears.
Push [SELECT].

"Chipcard" appears.
Push [u].

"Trigger" appears.
Push [SELECT].

"Trigger table" appears.
Use the buttons [t] or [u] to select the trigger type you want to switch on or off.

"Trigger table" means that the print action is activated by pushing
the trigger table
"Trigger switch" means that the print action is activated when you touch
the trip switch with the paper to be printed on
("Trigger external" via the RS-232 interface
Push [SELECT] at the desired trigger type.

"ON" or "OFF" flashes.
Push [u] to switch between "ON" and "OFF".

Confirm the desired setting with [OK].
f
Use the buttons [t] or [u] to get to the settings for the other trigger types.
f
To save the setting and return to the main menu,
