Common problems

Symptom
No power.
Operation with the remote control
isn't possible
Disc cannot be loaded or ejected.
There is no sound.
Sound skips.
The operation key does not work
The radio does not receive the
radio station automatically.

Cause
The car ignition is not on.
A fuse of power cable has blown
Battery power is low
Some operations are prohibited with certain discs
Another CD disc inside the player.
Inserting the disc in reverse direction
Compact disc is dirty or damaged.
Temperature inside the car is too high.
Condensation.
Volume is at minimum.
The speaker connections are incorrect
The installation angle is more than 30 degrees.
The disc is dirty or damaged.
The built-in microcomputer is not operating properly.
The antenna cable is not connected properly.
The signals are too weak.
Remedy
If the power supply is properly connectedto the car accessory
terminal, switch theignition key to ACC.
Replace the old fuse with a new one with the same capacity.
Load new batteries
Check using another disc.
Remove the disc in the player
Insert the compact disc with the label facing upwards.
Clean the disc or try to play a new one.
Cool off or wait until the ambient temperature return to normal.
Leave the player off for an hour, and then try again.
Adjust volume to a desired level.
Check speaker connections (or the connection with an
amplifier if used)
Adjust the installation angle to less than 30 degrees.
Clean the compact disc. Or try to play a new one.
Press RESET button.Front panel is not fixed into its
place.Contacts between front and main unit are dirty. Clean
contacts with a cotton bud soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
Insert the antenna cable firmly
Select a station manually.
