DESCALING
For your coffee machine to work efficiently, you should periodically clean the limescale
deposits from the water, depending on the water quality in your area and the frequency
of use of the appliance. The following details should be followed:

Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the MAX level of the coffee
maker (the ratio of water to descaler is 4: 1 and for detailed instructions
please refer to the instructions of the descaler.) Please use household descaler.
You can also use citric acid instead of descaler (the ratio of water to citric acid
is 100: 3).

Make sure the filter is clear of coffee powder.

Put a cup under the brew basket.

Make sure the funnel is installed properly.

Turn on the unit and select the descaling function.

After the function, switch off the device.

Leave the descaler for 15 minutes and repeat steps 3-5.

Turn on the device and allow the solution to run through until the water tank is
completely empty.

Rinse the machine with running water at least 3 times.
TIPS FOR GOOD COFFEE
• A clean coffee machine is the prerequisite for a good-tasting coffee. Regular
cleaning of your coffee maker is necessary: refer to the „Care and Cleaning"
section. Always use fresh, cold water for coffee preparation.
• Store coffee powder in a cool and dry place. After you have opened the
packaging, store it in the refrigerator in a well-closed position to keep it fresh.
• For optimum coffee flavor, use whole beans and finely grind them before brewing.
• Do not use coffee powder a second time because the coffee taste will be greatly
reduced. It is not recommended to reheat the coffee as it tastes the best immediately
after brewing.
