9. Cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric

Prior to cleaning, disconnect the power
unit 6.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock due to moisture!
The hand-held vacuum sealer 1, the ca-
ble and the power unit 6 must not be
immersed in water or any other liquids.
WARNING! Risk of material
damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
Vacuum-sealing bag
•
If possible, clean the vacuum-sealing
bag 11 immediately after use.
•
Clean the vacuum-sealing bag 11 by
hand using mild detergent and rinse out
thoroughly with clean water.
•
Before putting them away, the vacuum-
sealing bags 11 must be completely
dry on the inside and outside.
Hand-held vacuum sealer
1. Wipe down the housing of the device
with a damp cloth.
2. Figure D: remove the suction cham-
ber 3 for cleaning. Rotate the suction
chamber slightly anticlockwise and lift it
off upwards.
3. Ensure that the suction opening 5 and
the nozzle 4 are contamination-free.
4. Allow all parts of the device to dry com-
pletely.
5. Replace the suction chamber 3 on the
device and lock it with a slight clock-
wise twist.

10. Storage
•
Before putting them away, ensure that
all accessories are completely dry.
•
If you are not going to use the device
for an extended period, remove the bat-
teries.
•
Store the device protected against dust
and dirt and out of the reach of children.
11. Disposal
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-
bol showing a wheelie bin
crossed through indicates
that the product requires sep-
arate refuse collection in the European Un-
ion. This applies to the product and all
accessories marked with this symbol. Prod-
ucts identified with this symbol may not be
discarded with normal household waste, but
must be taken to a collection point for recy-
cling electric and electronic appliances. Re-
cycling helps to reduce the consumption of
raw materials and protect the environment.
Batteries must not be discard-
ed with your household
waste. Spent batteries must
be disposed of properly. Spe-
cial containers are available
for this purpose in shops sell-
ing batteries and at municipal collection
points.
(Rechargeable) batteries marked with the
following letters contain harmful substances
such as: Cd (cadmium), Hg (mercury),
Pb (lead).
Packaging
When disposing of the packaging, make
sure you comply with the environmental reg-
ulations applicable in your country.
