ASSEMBLE THE TRIMMER HEAD

1. Put the spacer correctly on the shaft.
2. Attach the inner ring-nut to inner cup in the indicated
direction.
3. Make sure that the grooves of the inner ring-nut align
perfectly with those of the angle transmission.
4. Put the wrench in the specified angle transmission hole.
5. Turn the trimmer head and push the wrench until the
wrench engages the inner ring-nut hole, blocking rotation.
6. Assemble the trimmer head.
7. Turn the trimmer head counterclockwise to tighten it.
8. Remove the wrench.
IMPORTANT
You must install the cut-off blade when you use the trimmer
head.

1. Put the wrench in the specified angle transmission hole.
2. Turn the trimmer head and push the wrench until the
wrench engages the inner ring-nut hole, blocking rotation.
3. Turn the trimmer head clockwise to loosen it. Do not
remove the spacer from the shaft.

Wear gloves and be careful with sharp edges.
WARNING
Apply the guard to the blade.
1. Put the spacer correctly on the shaft.
2. Attach the inner ring-nut to inner cup in the indicated
direction.
3. Make sure that the grooves of the inner ring-nut align
perfectly with those of the angle transmission.
4. Attach the blade and outer ring-nut with the flat part
facing the blade.
5. Attach the outer cup without tightening the nut.
6. Put the wrench in the specified angle transmission hole.
7. Turn the blade and push the wrench until the blade fits in
the inner ring-nut hole, blocking rotation.
8. Tighten the nut counterclockwise with a 19 mm or 3/4 in.
wrench (44/58 Nm).

Apply the guard to the blade.
1. Put the wrench in the specified angle transmission hole.
2. Trun the blade and push the wrench until the wrench
engages the inner ring-nut hole, blocking rotation.
3. Loosen the nut clockwise and remove the outer cup.
4. Remove the outer ring-nut, blade, inner cup and inner
ring-nut. Do not remove the spacer from the shaft.

STORAGE
6.1
MOVE THE MACHINE
When you move the machine, you must:
•
Wear gloves.
•
Stop the machine.
•
Remove the battery pack and charge it.
•
Assemble the blade guard.
6.2
STORE THE MACHINE
•
Remove the battery pack from the machine.
•
Make sure that children cannot come near the machine.
•
Keep the machine away from corrosive agents such as
garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
•
Secure the machine during transportion to prevent
damage or injury. Clean and examine the machine for any
damage.
