• Unplug power cord when moving from one location to another.
• Unplug power cord when removing grill for cleaning.
• Make sure fan is on a stable, flat surface when in operation.
• Be sure the FRONT and rear GUARD screws are completely tightened down in the locked position before
operating the fan.
• The use of any electric device requires compliance with a few fundamental rules, including: Never touch it with
wet or humid hands. Never touch it when barefoot. Do not allow use by unsupervised children or disabled
persons.
• In case of damage to the power cable, have an authorised Vortice Assistance Centre replace it immediately.
• Switch off and disconnect the unit from the mains when not in use.
• Do not move the device by pulling on the power cable.

Use

Note: The fan comes fully assembled. No further assembly is needed.
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface.
2. Plug unit the mains power supply and switch the power on using the switch located at the back of the fan (fig.1)
selecting low speed (I) or high (II).
3. When you have finished using the fan set the switch to off position ("O') and disconnect the fan from the mains
power.
Note: It is normal for the motor to feel warm to touch after continuous operation. This fan features a thermal
cutoff that will automatically shut off should It overheat for any reason. If this happens, Immediately unplug the
fan from the outlet.
