Description and Use

The product you have purchased is an automatic hand dryer with IR sensor that can dry your hands in 12/14
seconds. Take care in deciding where to install this appliance to avoid interference with the automatic
operating system.
The appliance is available in two versions:
ECODRY: with AC collector motor and standard filter
ECO DRY EC: with brushless motor and HEPA filter
These appliances have been designed for use in residential and
commercial properties.
See under "Use" for a more detailed description of the various functionalities offered by the appliance.

Failure to accurately follow the instructions may result in the incorrect operation of this unit, damage to property

• Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that described in this booklet. Vortice is not responsible
for damages caused by misuses or defective installations.
• The unit must be mounted on a flat vertical wall
• Having removing the appliance from its packaging, ensure that it is intact and undamaged. If in doubt, contact
a Vortice Technical Support Centre.
• Do not leave packaging within reach of children or individuals with disabilities.
• Certain fundamental rules must be observed when using any electrical appliance:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
- never touch the appliance while barefoot.
• Do not use the appliance where there are inflammable substances and vapours (alcohol, insecticides, petrol,
etc.).
The appliance must be installed safely beyond the reach of persons

when taking a shower or bath in a cubicle or tub.
This appliance can be used by children no less than 8 years of age

and by individuals with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities,
or by inexperienced or untrained individuals, provided that they are
supervised or have been instructed in safe use of the appliance and
understand the associated risks. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance procedures that can be
undertaken by the user must not be entrusted to children, unless
under supervision.

• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• This unit has been designed for indoor use only, protected from water, sun and extreme temperatures, do
not use it outdoors or close to moisture and heat generators.
• The unit must be mounted on a flat vertical wall
• Install this appliance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (fig. 4b).
• Keep the appliance's intake and outlet grilles free to ensure an optimum flow of air.
• Do not leave objects standing on the appliance.
• Choose the position in which to install the appliance carefully to avoid interference with its automatic operating
