This menu includes functions related
to SMS (Short Message Service), MMS
(Multimedia Message Service), voice
mail, as well as the network's service
messages. Sending of SMS and MMS
leads to costs. For details please
contact your service provider.

New message

You can write and edit a message
containing a combination of text,
image, and sound (up to 10 pages).
1. Enter your message in the message
field.
2. Press the left soft key [Options].
The following options are available.

Send to: Sends the message you
have created. You can add
recipients from your contacts list
using [Options] or enter the
phone number directly. You can
enter up to 10 numbers.

Insert: You can insert images,
sounds, symbols, text templates,
or emoticons.

Save to drafts: You can save the
message to drafts or as a picture
template.

Writing language: Select the
language for T9 mode. (For
further details on the T9 mode,
refer to pages 20-21.)

New T9 word: When you can't
find a desired word in T9 mode,
you can add a word in the T9
dictionary using this option. After
typing a word, press the left soft
key [Save].

Clear text: Clears any text you
have entered.

Exit: Select this to cancel editing.
The written message will not be
saved.

When creating a multimedia message, if
you upload a picture (50K) you may
find that whilst the picture is loading you
will not be able to carry out any other
actions until the picture has completed
loading.
