• The awning system must be easy to operate without jamming!
• Regularly check the awning for imbalance or damaged rods and
springs.
• Before the first use of the drive, insert the telescoping bar (1) into the
driveshaft (7) to latch them together.
• Pull out telescope bar (1) completely and listen for the parts snap-
ping in.
• Use the motor for opening and retracting conventional
crank-drive-operated terrace awnings only.
• Remove the hand crank from your awning, if connected.
• Use the hook (2) of the telescopic rod (1) to insert the drive shaft.
• Then operate the function buttons (3-4) for the desired motion.
• When operating the function buttons (3-4), the DREHMOFLEX
must be pulled downwards to firmly anchor the hook (2) in the loop
of the awning and avoid vibrations!
• Make sure you are securely positioned and firmly grasp the electric
handle with both hands.
• Major rotary forces may be generated, especially when retracting
the awning. Therefore, firmly hold the DREHMOFLEX
hands, pulling it in a downwards direction. Should you not be able to
control the forces, release the operating button.
• DREHMOFLEX
is equipped with an electronic limit switch. How-
®
ever, only extend or retract the awning as much as you would when
using the hand crank.
• Immediately switch off the motor should the awning lock. Other-
wise, a strong recoil may occur.
• Never use DREHMOFLEX
motor and invalidate any warranty claims.
