3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To avoid damage to the unit or any personal injuries, please adhere to the following safety instructions:
• Using defective devices may result in personal
and material damages (electric shock, fire and/
or injury).
• Inspect drive shaft and charger for damages
prior to use. Never use defective and damaged
devices.
• Consider you surrounding. Do not expose the
drive to water or high humidity.
• Do not use the drive in the vicinity of flamma-
ble liquids or vapors.
• Store the drive and charger in a dry, locked lo-
cation.
• Make sure that no persons or children are
within the operating range during operation.
• Children should not have access to drive or to
its charger.

• Do not use the drive for non-intended applica-
tion.
• Do not over-work the drive, as this will void its
warranty.
• Keep loose clothes, jewelry and long hair away
from rotating shaft.
• Maintain secure footing and safe balance.
• The drive, and particularly those areas touched
by your hands must be clean, dry and free from
grease and oil.
• Operate the electric awning winder handle with
extra attention and concentration.
