6.4 Operation of the single ladder
The single ladder [G] can be used with the stepladder
[A]as an additional extension section or as a separate
ladder. (see 3. Technical information).
To separate the single ladder [G] from the
stepladder [A]: Unlock the single ladder [G] at the
locking hook [D] and then move out of the ladder
guide [A-5].
In reverse order, the single ladder [G] can be put
back together with the stepladder [A].
6.5 Set-up and use as a stepladder.
1. Place the ladder with the crossbar on the ground and
raise it until it is vertical for easier handling.
Unlock the single ladder [G], position it one or two
rungs higher and lock it again.
2. Unlock the front ladder element of the stepladder
[A-2] at the lock hook [D] and unhinge, pulling for-
ward and thereby opening the stepladder completely.
3. Multi-purpose ladder with step adjustment:
The spreader brace [F] must be securely engaged
(see marking [E-1] on the step ladder).
The top ladder rung must be securely positioned in
the seat of the latch hinge.
4. Multi-purpose ladder without
step adjustment:
The tension belt must be fully extended. The ladder
rail of the front ladder unit [A-2] must be in an
engaged position on the guide bracket of the rear
ladder unit [A-1].
