Safety Information
Do not install the telltask 1C1 device close to pacemakers, auditory prostheses or medical devices in general
as the telltask 1C1 device may interfere with the operation of these devices.
The telltask 1C1 device operates by means of a radio signal, no mobile telephone operator is capable of ensuring
a connection at all times. For this reason, the telltask 1C1 device cannot be used in life support systems.

Installation
In order to ensure the operator's safety and the correct operation of the telltask 1C1, the device should be installed
exclusively by qualified staff. The rules listed below have to be strictly observed.
Environmental conditions
The telltask 1C1 device (the instrument and all cables connected to it) should be installed in places either free or
far from:
Dust, humidity, intense heat;
Direct exposure to sunlight;
Objects radiating heat;
Objects generating a strong electromagnetic field;
Liquids or corrosive chemical substances.
Degree of Protection
During the installation of the telltask 1C1 device, the following degree of protection is to be ensured:
IP54: protection to be guaranteed when using the device outdoors.
Power supply
Observe the following rules:
Do not use cables longer than 2m;
The external power supply unit (e.g. plug-in power supply), must comply with the EN 60950 Directive (electrical
safety);
The device must be powered by a power source limited to 24VA.
Signaling Inputs
Observe the following rules:
do not use cables longer than 2m;
do not install the cables in proximity of possible electromagnetic fields, in which case, use shielded cables.
Relay Output
Observe the following rules:
before connecting the load, check the data rating. (see "rating");
use insulated cables suitable for the load with double sheath (double insulation), with 6 mm outer sheath diam-
eter;
ensure that dangerous voltage cables go along the path indicated only remaining within the A.T. area;
do not put a cable longer than expected (2m), and especially outside the indicated areas;
you should never bring dangerous voltage cables close the low voltage.
