This section contains important safety instructions for using the ap-
pliance. This appliance complies with statutory safety regulations.
Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1) Before use, check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not
use an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.
2) To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged cables or connectors
to be replaced by an authorized specialist or the Customer Service
department.
Do not operate the appliance outdoors.

ance so that it can work effectively.
5) Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of easily flammable gases
or materials, in the vicinity of exposed flames or in locations where oil
or water can splash.

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or
have been told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of
the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children
unless they are supervised.
7) Only have repairs carried out by authorized specialist companies or
the Customer Service department. Improper repairs can pose signifi-
cant risks to the user. Warranty claims also become void.
8) This appliance must not be exposed to rain. Protect the appliance
against moisture and the penetration of liquids and objects into the
housing. Never submerge the appliance in water and do not place ob-
jects filled with liquids (such as vases) on the appliance. The appliance
could be irreparably damaged!
9) Avoid direct sunlight.
