Checking, care and maintenance

Never allow parts of the aluminium scaffol-

Clean the aluminium scaffolding regularly,
in particular the moveable parts, to remove
paint, plaster, mortar and other residues, in
order to safeguard their technical safety
functions.
Before and after each use, check the alumi-
nium scaffolding to see that all components
are present and function correctly, and also
check for broken parts, cracks, wear and
tear or other damage.
In particular, check the working platform and
its laminated wood covering for damage.
Check to see that the running wheels are
in perfect condition.
Do not use force, e.g. striking with a ham-
mer, to assemble or dismantle the scaffol-
ding. When transporting the scaffolding,
the components are to be stowed correctly
and fastened securely.
If the individual parts are to be stored for a
longer period, they should be kept in a dry
environment either standing upright or lying
flat.
