6. Product description
The PIKO Data Communicator is a set, comprising the Data Collector (3)
and associated Data Stick (4).
The Data Collector (3) collects data from the PV system (PIKO inverter)
and transfers it to the Data Stick (4) for display purposes.
The Data Collector can be directly connected to the PIKO inverter via a
crossover cable (with communication board I) (Fig.1 (2a)) / network cable
(with communication board II) (Fig.1 (2a)) or a switch (Fig. 2 (2b)).
If the PIKO inverter is already part of a network with a router, then the Data
Collector can be incorporated in this network. To do this, connect the Data
Collector to the router using a free RJ45 connection.
To display your PV system's data in your picture frame, plug the Data Stick
(with USB connector) into the intended USB socket on the digital picture
frame (Figs. 1 & 2 (5)).
If the PIKO Master Control software is connected to the
PIKO inverter, the PIKO Data Communicator cannot estab-
lish a connection with the PIKO inverter.
