Troubleshooting check list

If the SousVide Supreme is not operating properly, please follow these recommended checks.
Appliance won't start.
Be sure the electrical cord (power lead) is inserted firmly into the power port on the back of the machine and
c
plugged into the wall socket. You will hear a half-second tone when it is plugged into the socket.
Check to see that the power outlet is live by plugging the appliance into a different wall socket that you know
c
is working.
Make sure to press and hold On/Off for a full three seconds. If the appliance fails to start, reposition your finger
c
and press/hold again.
If these remedies fail, contact Customer Service.
c
Alert tone is sounding every two seconds, Error Alert is blinking, and ER-05 appears in the display.
Touch On/Off for three seconds to power off. Add water to the FILL line and turn the appliance on.
c
If this remedy fails, contact Customer Service.
c
Alert tone is sounding every two seconds, Error Alert is blinking, and ER-03 appears in the display.
A power disruption occurred, and the water temperature dropped below 130°F/54.5°C (see page 9).
c
Touch On/Off for three seconds to power off the machine. Discard spoiled food.
If this remedy fails, contact Customer Service.
c
ER-01, ER-02, ER-04 or ER-06 appears in the display.
Contact Customer Service.
c
Tonal alerts sound during the cooking process, and Error Alert is not illuminated.
Alert sounds are programmed into the cooking cycle. Check to see if the alert is:
indicating that the set temperature has been reached (see page 6).
c
indicating that the timer setting has elapsed (see page 7).
c
indicating that the delayed start setting has elapsed (see page 8).
c
If alerts, other than those noted above, sound during the cooking process, contact Customer Service.
c
Food is not consistently cooked to perfect doneness.
Check to see if:
the temperature was set to your desired doneness.
c
food was vacuum sealed properly.
c
food was completely submerged under water during the cooking process.
c
food pouches were separated in the rack, not stacked on top of each other, and not covering the convection plate.
c
large pouches were placed in the rack vertically, not horizontally, and not directly on the convection plate.
c
If the above procedures were correctly followed and food is still not cooked properly, contact Customer Service.
