to adjust minutes. Press and hold the corresponding button down to
scroll through the digits. When maximum value is reached the device
goes back to the minimum value.
4. To cancel the adjustments press and hold down CANCEL/REHEAT and
start over.
When adjusting the time, consider time adjustment range and interval
of the selected program in the Table of Default Settings in the back of
the Manual.
Cook time of the BOIL/STEAM group of programs starts to count down
after water comes to a full boil, providing enough steam; of the PASTA
program — after water comes to a full boil, products are added, and the
START button is repressed. The cook time of some programs (PANCAKE,
PIZZA) starts to count down after the appliance reaches its required
temperature. Cook time of the rest of the programs starts to count down
after you press the START button.
To switch between Fahrenheit / Celsius
Your Multicooker RMC-280A can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and
from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
1. Press and hold the TEMPERATURE button for three seconds in standby
mode, or in MULTICOOK (before or during the program). "212" and the
°F indicator are blinking.
2. To switch to Celsius press HOUR/— or MIN/+. "100" and the °C indicator
are blinking.
3. To switch back press HOUR/— or MIN/+.
4. To save the adjustment do not press any button for three seconds.
TIME DELAY Function
The function enables the program to finish at a certain time. The program
can be delayed for up to 24 hours in 5 minute intervals.
1. Select the program and adjust the cook time. To delay the program repress
the TIME DELAY / COOK TIME button. The TIME DELAY indicator and the
time by which the dish will be ready (set by default) are displayed. Time
value indicator is blinking.
2. Use HOUR/– to adjust hours and MIN/+ to adjust minutes. Press and

hold the corresponding button down to scroll through the digits.
When maximum value is reached, the device goes back to the minimum
value.
3. To cancel the adjustments press and hold down CANCEL/REHEAT and
start over.
It is not recommended to use the TIME DELAY function for dairy and
other perishable products (eggs, milk, meat, cheese, etc.). The function
is not applicable in SAUTÉ, PANCAKE and PASTA.
KEEP WARM Function
The function automatically activates at the end of the cycle and keeps the
dish warm at 140°F – 175°F (60–80°С) for up to 12 hours. The START but-
ton indicator goes off, CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator lights up. KEEP
WARM time starts to progress .
Disable KEEP WARM in advance
To disable the function in the beginning of the cycle press and hold down
START until the CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator goes off. To reactivate
the function repress and hold down START until the CANCEL/REHEAT but-
ton indicator lights up.
REHEAT Function
Reheats cold dishes. To reheat:
1. Fill the bowl with food and position it inside the appliance. Ensure that
the bowl makes full contact with the heating element.
2. Close the lid until it clicks into place and plug in the unit.
3. Press and hold down the CANCEL/REHEAT button. The button indicator
lights up and reheating process begins. REHEAT time is displayed.
4. The appliance warms the food up to 140°F – 175°F (60–80°С) and
maintains the temperature for up to 12 hours. To disable the function
press CANCEL/REHEAT (the button indicator goes off).
The function may operate for a period of 12 hours, however, we recommend
using it moderately for not more than 2­3 hours, because a prolonged
thermal exposure may sometimes affect the flavor of the meal.
