Risk of fire and electric shock
Only connect and operate the toaster in
accordance with the information on the rating
plate.
Keep children away from the toaster.
Do not use if the power cable or appliance
show signs of damage.
Unplug the toaster after each use or in the
event of a fault.
To avoid potential hazards, repairs on the
toaster, such as the replacement of a
damaged power cable, must only be carried
out by members of our after sales service.
Do not let the power cable:
- come into contact with hot parts
- be pulled over sharp edges
- be used to carry the toaster.
Do not poke objects into the toast slot.
Only operate the toaster when it is upright.
Bread can burn. Never operate the toaster
near to or underneath curtains or other
flammable materials.
Do not cover the toast slot at any time during
operation.
Do not touch parts other than the operational
controls, as the toaster can become hot
during toasting.
Never leave the toaster unattended while it
is in operation.

Before first use

With the window open, switch on the
toaster to the highest toasting level setting
without any bread in it at least three times,
then let it cool down again.
Toasting
Do not operate the toaster without the crumb
tray 5.

Pull the power cable out to the length
desired and plug it in.
The default toasting level of 3.5 appears in
toasting level display 7.

Press rotary push button 9 to open
cover 1.
S
Place the food to be toasted in the toast
slot 6.
S
Turn toasting level selector 10 to set the
desired toasting level.
It is possible to select any toasting level
from 1 6 in increments of 0.5 and call this
level up in toasting level display 7.
It remains stored (memory function).
Info: Your setting is cleared if the toaster is
unplugged or there is a power failure. The
factory setting (3.5) is automatically
restored in these cases.

To switch the toaster on, turn rotary ring 8
clockwise to the stop to click it into place.
Ring lamp 12 lights up. After a brief delay,
the time remaining in minutes/seconds
before the end of toasting time (count
down) is shown in toasting level display 7.
