When grinding, the best results are achieved if you
work at a setting angle of approx. 20°–30°.

Disassembly/Assembly of the protection cover
If the protection cover (4) has to be removed, proceed as
follows: Unscrew the two screws (5) and remove the coun-
terflange (6). The protection cover (4), annular ring (7) and
limit stop washer (8) can now be lifted off. The pro-tection
cover (4) is assembled in the opposite order.
Cutting and grinding may only be done with the pro-tec-
tion cover on!
Adjusting the protection cover
Depending upon the use, the protection cover can be
swung back to the stop cams (9). When the assist handle
is mounted and you need to work with the swingguard,
newer swing it back on the handle side – you could other-
wise seriously injure yourself!

Mounting instructions for grinding and cutting discs
The examples show how grinding rings are to be fastened
to the spindle end with the clamping flange (10). A spindle
lock makes loosening and tightening the clamping flange
(10) with the pin-type face wrench easier. When doing this,
hold the pusher (11) pressed in.
Attention!
Actuate only during standstill!
