using this instrument for the first time. The information contained here will help you to achieve accurate and
reproducible results and to avoid misuse or damages.
Safety Precautions
The stroboscopes are designed for use in normal environmental conditions. Do not operate the
instrument in explosive areas.
Dust, water, chemicals or other kinds of contamination may cause serious damages when they
enter the housing. Please consult the Technical Data section to check the specified protection code
(IP Code).
Do not look at the emitted light or aim the stroboscope towards others, as it may be harmful to the
eyes.
Attention ! The fast flashing sequences may cause seizure for those suffering epilepsy.
Do not disassemble the unit. Some components keep voltage even after disconnection of the
instrument from external or internal power sources. Please consult the chapter Maintenance before
changing the flash tube or the battery.
If your instrument is equipped with an internal NiCd-battery, it should be fully charged before its
first use in order to achieve full battery capacity.
