10. The numbers on the armrests indicate the three different

positions that the activity tray can be used in. Adjust the activ-

ity tray until the desired position is reached and release the
handles. If the activity tray does not automatically lock onto
the armrests, move the activity tray until a click is heard, sig-
nalling that the tray is now securely in place.
WARNING: always ensure that the tray is locked correctly to
the armrests before use.
WARNING: never leave the tray fitted in a position in which
the danger signs are visible on the armrests: IT IS NOT safe!
11. To remove the activity tray, pull the fastener handles out-
wards and lift the tray upwards (Diag. 14).
RECLINING BACKREST ADJUSTMENT
The backrest of the highchair can be adjusted to 3 positions.
12. To adjust the inclination of the backrest, pull the backrest
upwards and recline it until the desired position is reached;
release it and an audible click will be heard, signalling that it
has locked into position. The operation can also be carried out
with the child sitting in the highchair, although it can be more
difficult (Diag. 15).
CLOSING THE HIGHCHAIR
WARNING: when performing this operation, check that your
child, and all other children, are at a safe distance. Always
make sure that, during these operations, the movable parts of
the highchair do not come into contact with your child.
13. After bringing the backrest into an upright position, raise
the two side levers as illustrated in Diagram 16.
14. Bring the highchair legs together (Fig. 17). When the high-
chair is closed it will stand up on its own (Diag. 18).
