This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the ap-
pliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if
they understand the hazards involved.

Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left
unattended.

Never touch the device with moist or wet hands. Also, do
not touch the power cord or plug of the device while your
hands are moist or wet.

Do not use any accessories that have not been recom-
mended by the device manufacturer. Improper combina-
tions can lead to fire, electrical shock or injuries.

Never immerse the motor housing into water. Always re-
member: your hand mixer is an electrical device.

To clean the device, always use just a moist cleaning cloth.
Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
•
Push the speed control switch into position «0» and unplug
the device to turn it off.
•
Pull the plug to remove it from the electrical outlet, not the
power cord.
•
Make sure that the power cord does not hang down from
the table or work surface and also prevent it from coming
into contact with hot surfaces, including the stove.
•
Unplug the hand mixer whenever it is not in use, if you want
to mount or remove accessories or clean the device.
•
Under no circumstances start up an electrical device if
its power cord or plug are damaged, after it has malfunc-
tioned or if the device has been damaged in any other way.
In such cases, always bring the device to the nearest autho-
rized service center for inspection, repair or adjustments.

Never attempt to replace the power cord of your device
since special tools are required to do this properly. Have
such repairs and power cord replacement work performed
exclusively by a manufacturer authorized service center in
order to warrant that your device remains safe to use.

Never immerse power cords, motor housings and plugs into
water or other liquids, as this could cause fires, electrical
shock or injuries.

Caution: To prevent the risk of the safety shut-off reactivat-
ing the device, the device must not be connected to power
via an external switching device, such as a timer or con-
nected with a power circuit that is regularly turned on or off
by the power company.

The device must not be connected to mains while it is be-
ing cleaned.
•
Do not touch any rotating parts.
•
Keep clothing, jewelry, fingers, hair and utensils away from
rotating parts to prevent severe injuries to persons and
damages to the unit.
•
When blending liquids and in particular hot liquids, use a
high container or reduce the amount of liquid you are mix-
ing to prevent the risk of splashing.
•
Make sure that the speed setting is in the 0-setting and that
the device is unplugged before you clean it or turn it off.
•
Never allow the device to run unsupervised.
•
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply be-
fore changing accessories or approaching parts that move
in use.
