Press MENU V to move the flashing to the setting
of MODE of the SW OUT SET menu and set to
FIELD or FRAME by pressing MENU + or – and
press MENU V again.

Set TIMING by pressing MENU + or – and press
MENU V.

Set 3H MODE (3-hour mode) to ON or OFF by
pressing MENU + or –.
ON: a signal is output in the 3-hour mode.
OFF: a signal is not output in the 3-hour mode.

Press SEARCH/AUDIO ON to return to the
normal display.
REC OUT Terminal
While recording or recording pause, the VCR outputs a
pulse signal from REC OUT terminal.
Tape recording starts.
Recording is in
5 V
progress.

The VCR can be remotely controlled by adding the
circuit shown below to the REMOTE jack or by using
the SVT-RM10 Remote Control Unit (not supplied).
The VCR enters
recording pause
mode.
• Use a shielded cord less than 5 m (16 ft.) in length.
• The recording indicator on the SVT-RM10 lights up when
REMOTE Jack
