Storage of the Handpiece during
Extended Periods of Non-Use
If the handpiece is not to be used for an extended
period of time - e.g. during vacation - fully charge
the battery prior to departure or keep the handpiece
inserted in the operational charger.
- Otherwise, nearly discharged batteries may
become excessively discharged due to the low
degree of power consumption ongoing even
in Power Down mode. This may damage the
battery.
Fully or nearly discharged batteries must be
recharged as soon as possible.
Disposal
As a means of protection of the environment, your
new device is equipped with a Nickel-metal hydride
battery. This kind of battery is free from toxic heavy
metal ions.
Dispose of defective batteries and units in
accordance with local legal regulations!

3M ESPE guarantees your Elipar FreeLight against
defects in material and workmanship for two years
from date of purchase. During the two-year warranty
period, 3M ESPE will repair defects or replace a
defective unit free if the unit was new when it was
purchased, and it is promptly returned to the following

Defects caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or abuse
are not covered by this warranty.
This warranty does not cover lamps, fiber optic tips,
and rechargeable batteries.

EXPENSES THAT ARISE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY

REPLACE OR REPAIR THE DEVICE. THIS LIMITED
