The safety measures stated in this Instructions Manual do not cover all possible situations which
may occur during usage. The operator must be aware that good sense, attention, and precautions
cannot be incorporated into the product, therefore caution should be taken when operating and
servicing TRAPP shredders.
TRAPP Animal Ration Shredders have been designed
to cut foliage such as grass, sugar cane, sorghum,
corn etc. used in the production of silage or to feed
your livestock.

the safety indications to prevent
accidents and/or injuries.
Read and keep these instructions:
1 - Working area
Do neither use the equipment near explosive
environments nor near flammable liquids,
gases and/or dust under suspension. The
equipment electrical installation produces sparks
that may ignite flammable liquids, gases or dust
under suspension.
Keep children and spectators away. People,
especially children, must remain at a safe distance
from the working area when the equipment is
being used. The operator/user is responsible for
accidents that may occur.

Important Recommendations
They are provided with a three-blade disk,
movable ration outlet device and accessories
to be driven either by electric/diesel/gasoline
motors or by agricultural tractors.
2 - Electrical safety
Do not expose the equipment to either
rain or humidity. Install the equipment in a
dry place, protected from weather conditions.
Water inside the equipment can damage the
electric circuit of the motor, besides increasing
the risk of an electric shock.
For your safety, ground the equipment.
Failure to do so may result in an accident,
electrical shock or personal injury.
3 - Personal safety
Beware with what is going on and use
common sense when operating the
equipment. Do not use it when you are tired,
distracted or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medicine. A slight distraction may result in a
serious injury.
Wear protection equipment. Always wear
goggles. Wearing protection equipment like
gloves, shoes, and ear plugs increases your
protection and reduces the risk of an accident.
