LIGHT
The light is turned on and off by pressing the "on/off light" button. This can be done regardless of whether the motor is running.
The light always switches on at full strength, but can be dimmed by holding down the on/off light button. If you hold down the button when the light
is at its lowest level, the light strength will begin to increase again until it reaches full strength or until the button is released.
PERIODIC EXTRACTION
Periodic extraction means that the hood starts once every hour at speed 1 for 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes in order to change the air in the kitchen.
The periodic extraction is activated by holding down the (+) button for approx. 10 seconds while the motor is switched on. This feature is active when
you hear a beeping sound. It does not matter which speed the motor is running at when periodic extraction is activated. When the function is activated,
the motor speed will drop to speed 1, and the light in the display on the hood will run through all the diodes once to indicate that the function has been
activated to run for 5 minutes once every hour.
The time interval for how long the periodic extraction shall run is increased by pressing the (+) button and reduced by pressing the (-) button. The num-
ber of times the light runs through all the diodes on the display indicates which time interval has been selected. If a time interval of 5 minutes is se-
lected, the light will run through all the diodes once; if a time interval of 10 minutes is selected, the light will run twice, and so on.
Press the power button to confirm the time selection for the periodic extraction. The light in the display on the hood will continue to run through all the
diodes once every 20 seconds to indicate that periodic extraction has been activated.
The other functions can be used when periodic extraction is activated. If you want to stop the periodic extraction, hold down the (+) button for approx.
10 seconds until you hear a beeping sound.
AFTER-RUNNING
After-running means that the motor will stop automatically 15 minutes after this function has been activated. After-running runs at the chosen speed
when the "after-running" function was selected.
After-running is activated by holding down the (-) button for approx. 10 seconds until a beeping sound is heard from the hood. The LED diode for the se-
lected speed will flash continually to show after-running has been activated.
After-running will stop if the hood is switched on or off or adjusted in any other way.
RECIRCULATION
The hood can be used for recirculation. This is used in kitchens and in locations where there is no possibility of venting into open-air. The air is first drawn
through the grease filter and then through a filter with active carbon to remove odours.
Note: Two recirculation filters must be used; these are not included in the purchase of the hood, but can be bought as accessories. The product number
for 1 recirculation filter is 535.26.1010.9.
The recirculation filters are mounted on the back of the grease filters. This is done in the following way:
•
Lift the metal lids by holding the two corners of the lid and carefully pushing downwards.
•
Remove the grease filter by pulling on the filter locking mechanism.
•
Remove the safety wire from the filter. Note: It is important to keep a tight hold of the filter when removing the wire, as it can cause damage if
dropped.
•
Mount the recirculation filter on the labyrinth filter in these two steps:
1
•
Reattach the safety wire on the filter
•
Reattach the filter in the hood.
Place the tabs on the recirculation
filter into the holes in the laby-
rinth filter.
