To close, slightly tilt the front panel between the two side panels with the lower edge in the slot in the front ventilation
profile d . Now tilt the front panel towards the nano terrarium until an audible click can be heard and ensure the front
panel is securely locked in place. Then, completely secure the front panel again by moving the safety catch back until it
firmly clicks into place.
Caution: The front panel is not secured against falling when opened with the safety catch flipped open, it is
merely resting in the ventilation profile. Do not drop the front panel!
Note: Do not lift the front panel out of the nano terrarium using the glued on catch/bar!
dvice on positioning and cleaning
• Position the nano terrarium in a suitable place away from drafts and direct sunlight, if possible. It should be close to
a power socket.
• Set up the terrarium on an even, stable and waterproof base. We recommend one of the suitable items of aquarium
furniture found on our website. (www.eheim.com). Floors and cabinets must be able to support the weight of the
nano terrarium.
• When positioning the nano terrarium, make sure the ventilation ducts are not obstructed (i.e. by carpeting). The ven-
tilation duct in the nano terrarium is necessary for through ventilation. If the ventilation duct is blocked, then good
through ventilation cannot be guaranteed.
• Never transport a nano terrarium once it has been set up. Do not carry an empty nano terrarium by its glued parts.
• Do not damage the bonding material when cleaning the glass panels. Be careful when using glass cleaners with razor
blades.
• Do not use detergents with toxic substances.
• The thickness of the glass in the terrarium is suitable for the load condition and has multiple structural safety features.
All glass edges are machine ground.
• Do not place heaters directly on the glass panels or other attachment parts, either on the outside or on the inside as
this may cause a stress fracture in the glass.
