Air Motor

Problem
A. Air motor fails to operate.
B. Air motor operates unsteadily.
6.2 Fluid Pump
Problem
A. Pump fails to operate.
B. Pump operates, but output low on both
strokes.
C. Pump operates but output low on
down stroke.
D. Pump operates, but output low on up
stroke.
E. Erratic or accelerated pump speed.

1. Restricted line or inadequate air supply.
2. Insufficient air pressure; closed or clogged air
valves, etc.
3. Inadequate fluid supply.
4. Damaged air valve mechanism; stalling.
5. Air leaks out from the O-ring.

Cause
1. Restricted line or inadequate air supply.
2. Obstructed fluid hose; fluid hose ID is too small.
3. Fluid dried on the displacement rod.
4. Dirty or worn air motor parts.

1. Clear the line or increase air supply.
