Electric connection
Before you plug the power plug into the power outlet, ensure that the
mains voltage corresponds with that of the appliance. You can find
information about this on the rating plate. Only connect the appliance
to a properly installed earthed socket.
Before initial use

Take the appliance and all accessories from their
2. Wipe the baking plate with a moist cloth.

Unwind the power cord completely.
4. Place the base on a heat resistant and level surface.
5.
Connect the plug to a mains power socket. The red control lamp
glows.
6. Allow the appliance to heat up for about 5 minutes on the
maximum temperature by turning the thermostat to MAX
position. The red and green control lamps glow.
NOTE: This process normally produces a small amount of smoke.
Ensure adequate ventilation for example by opening a window.
7. Place the thermostat back to "0" and remove the plug from the
main power socket. The red and green control lamps extinguish.
8. Let the appliance cool down completely.
9. Wipe once again the grill surfaces with a moist cloth.
10. Your appliance is now ready for use.
