9. If no further crêpes are to be cooked, turn the thermostat to "0" position
to turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow
the appliance to cool down.
CAUTION: Do not use sharp or metallic utensils on this product, as they will
scratch and cause irreparable damage to the baking plate.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
– Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning and wait
until the unit has cooled down.

NEVER submerse the base in water when cleaning it! The appliance
could become irreparably damaged!

– Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
– Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Housing & Baking plate
The housing and the baking plate should be wiped with a damp, lint-free
cloth. Ensure that the appliance is thoroughly dried before it is

A power-cord storage is located underneath the appliance. Unwind the
power cord completely before operation. Ensure that the appliance has
cooled down completely before winding it up again after thorough
cleaning.
– Store the cleaned appliance at a dry location.
Safety thermal protector
– The appliance has a safety device, which protects the appliance from
overheating.
– If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself on again,
disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait for approximately 15
minutes before reconnecting. If the device does not start again seek
authorised technical assistance.
