Do not connect the appliance to a resistor or
dimmer.

mechanical forces during use.

Do not use or place naked flames, lighters, matches,
etc. near the device when it is operated.

Do not operate the device near transformers or high-
power motors.

When operating the device, follow all the laws in
force in the country concerned.

Do not tilt the device – liquid may leak inside the
device causing damage or hazard for the user.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protection facilities and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of an accident or injury when using
the device. When using the device stay alert and use
common sense.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device CON.FM-1400 is intended for generating
smoke/fog effects by heating special liquids.
The CON.BF-400 device is used to generate the smoke/fog
effect and to produce soap bubbles by heating specialized
liquids.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
nonintended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE

Appliance location
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is used. The distance between each side of the device and
the wall or other objects should be at least 50 cm. Keep the
device away from hot surfaces. Operate the device on flat,
stable, clean, refractory and dry surfaces out of the reach
of children and people with mental disabilities. Install the
device making sure that constant access to the main plug is
ensured. The power cord connected to the appliance must
be properly grounded and correspond to the technical
details.
Before first use, remove all elements and clean them along
with the entire device.
3.3. DEVICE USE
3.3.1. Model: CON.FM-1400 / CON.BF-400
During use:
1.
Connect the power cable to an earthed power
supply.
2.
Connect to the controller plug. In CON.BF-400 model
an option to connect a wired remote control for fog.
3.
Fill the containers with a suitable fog/soap bubbles
making fluid (depending on the model). Use ice
cubes/dry ice for the CON.FM-1400 model.
4.
Set the On/Off switch to "ON".
5.
Operate the device via the control panel, controllers
or DMX console. (depending on the model).
6.
Spray the fog/soap bubbles (depending on the
model) after the device has completely warmed up.
7.
To switch off the device, set the On/Off switch to OFF
and then unplug the device from the power supply.
3.4. NOTES/DMX CONSOLE
Notes
a)
Moisture may deposit/condensate around the
nozzles and areas where smoke is sprayed.
b)
After use, the device may produce some unplanned,
small quantities of smoke.
c)
The device has programmed cycles of automatic
heating and cooling. The pump automatically turns
on and heats up until fully warmed and then it starts
spraying smoke.
d)
During first use, splashes of water and characteristic
smell are normal.
e)
Lead the remote controller wire to the place from
which the device is going to be controlled. Plug the
remote controller wire to the socket at the rear of
the device.
Adding smoke liquid:
a)
Unplug the device from the power source.
b)
Unscrew the tank cover and fill the tank with smoke
liquid.
c)
Screw the tank cover closed.
d)
Start up the cutting machine.
Serial device connection
To start the device using the DMX-512 controller or to
run programs on two or more synchronized devices in
in
the master-slave operating mode you will need a serial
connection. Devices on serial data link must be daisy
chained in one line. The total number of channels required
by all devices on serial data link indicates the number
of devices that the data link can handle. The maximum
recommended cable length is 500 meters. The maximum
recommended number of devices on a serial link is 32.
Data / DMX wiring
To connect the devices, you will need cables to transmit
data. Use cables that can transmit high-quality signal and
are less susceptible to electromagnetic interference.
Cable connectors
Cables must have a male XLR connector on one end and
a female XLR connector on the other end.
Setting up DMX control
1.
Connect the male DMX connector to the female
connector (DMX OUT) on the controller.
2.
Connect the female DMX cable connector to the
male connector of the first device (DMX IN).
3.
Note: it is not important which device address is
connected as first. It is recommended to connect
them in order of their proximity to the controller,
instead of connecting devices from the lowest
number and so on.
4.
Connect the remaining devices in the daisy chain
from the output (OUT) to the input (IN) as above.
Plug in a DMX terminator to the output (DMX OUT)
of the last device.

3.5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

a)
Before each cleaning, adjustment, replacement
of accessories and if the device is not used, it is
necessary to pull out the mains plug and cool the
device completely.
b)
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
c)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
d)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e)
Never spray the device with water jets.
