Commissioning
Prior to commissioning:
1. Refer to the technical data, illustrations,
part numbers and read all safety instruc-
tions.
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.
Assembly:
1. Drill the holes for the retaining bracket at
the correct distance from one another
(Fig. 2a or Fig. 2b, depending on model).
2. Secure the retaining bracket (item 01)
using screws designed to bear the weight
of the reel and withstand any tensile
forces that occur.
3. Attach the hose retractor to the retaining
bracket (Fig. 2a / Fig. 2b) with the hose
leading out from the top (Fig. 3a).
4. Activate the compressed air supply via
the upstream shutoff valve. Make sure
that the hose is long enough for the unit
to swivel 180°.
Adjusting and commissioning:
1. Take hold of the air hose (item 05) in
front of the stopper (item 04) and pull to
the required length.
2. The hose reel locks every 50 / 80 cm de-
pending on the model and the hose is re-
tained in that position.
3. Connect the compressed air tool to the
quick-action coupling (item 03) as shown
in Fig. 1a.
Winding up:
1. Disconnect the compressed air tool from
the quick-action coupling (Fig. 1b).
2. Pull the air hose approx. 30 cm beyond
the locking position and then slowly re-
lease at a steady rate.
