To let fluids released from food flow better during cooking,
lift the lever under the drip tray. Be careful not to lift it
when the plate is open at 180 °.
The appliance can be used also open, the upper and lower plates line up to create one large cooking surface.
Press the 180°opening button placed on right side and bring back
the upper housing until the two parts (upper, lower) will be aligned.
How to remove cooking plates
•• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before this operation.
• Place the appliance on a flat surface.
• Press the bottom release plate buttons on front of the unit the bottom plate will pop up slightly from the base.
Take the plate with two hands and lift it out of the base. Repeat the same for the upper plate.

CLEANING AND CARE

Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before this operation.
Never immerse the appliance in water or place in dishwasher.
The cooking plates can be cleaned in water or dishwasher.
Wipe cooking plates with some paper towel to remove food residue. If some food residues remain on the plates
squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent on a sponge or non-abrasive pad and clean, than rinse and
dry well.
Do not use metal utensils to remove your foods to avoid damaging the non-stick surface.
Wipe the outside of the grill toaster with a damp cloth only.
Remove and empty the drip collection tray after each use and wash it in warm, neutral soapy water, rinse and
dry before replace.
Before storing the appliance make sure all parts are cool, clean and dry.
