Adjusting the backrest height (Fig. 7-8)
Make sure that the diagonal section of the safety belt passes over the
child's shoulder, but not in front of his neck (Fig.8).
To reach the right belt position, you can easily adjust the backrest
height by following these operations:
To raise the backrest:
Pull the backrest upwards, holding it by the top rear handle, until the
upper part of the diagonal safety belt is properly positioned above the
child's shoulder.
To lower the backrest:
Pull the backrest slightly upwards, then push the backrest adjustment
button (1) on the top of the backrest and hold ( Fig.7).
Lower the backrest until the diagonal car seat belt section is in the right
position on child's shoulder ( Fig.8) .
Release the backrest adjustment button (1) to lock the backrest in
position.
V. Final Check-List
1 Check that both Isofix connectors, when used, are properly attached
to the Isofix anchor points.
2 Check that the vehicles seat belt is correctly fitted around the child's
body and the child car seat.
3 Check that the vehicle's seat belt has not become twisted or trapped
in any way.
4 Check that the vehicle's seat belt is fully tightened and the excess
length is recovered by the vehicle safety belt retractor.
5 Check regularly every part of the child car seat for possible damage.
6 Check the correct operation of all components.
