If subjected by an accident the car seat HAS TO
BE changed by a new one. Even if there are no
signs of damage the violent stresses to which
it is subjected in these cases can alter its struc-
ture and solidity, thus compromising its safety
and the safety of your child.

To guarantee the maximum safety and the correct protection
of your child, do not to use or purchase a second-hand car
seat. No change or addition should be made to the seat wi-
thout specific approval of the retailer.

Do not leave the car seat exposed to the sun to avoid that the
child burns himself. Do not leave the car seat in the car in the
sun: the plastic parts could get overheated.

Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the
event of a collision shall be properly secured. Keep all objects
fixed in the car because in case of a sudden brake loose
objects could cause serious injuries.

The safety belts of the car seat must not be used without the
padded shouldet straps. The child restraint must not be used
without the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced with
any other than the one recommended by Brevi srl, because
the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint perfor-
mance.

If you experience any problem of use or installation, do not
use the car seat but contact the manufacturer (Brevi srl) or
the retailer.

Always place your baby in the car seat, even on short trips.
Always fasten your child with safety belts even when you use
the car seat even when out of the car.
12.
Do not use the product if any components are broken or mis-
sing.
13.
All passengers must be instructed on how to free the child in
case of an accident.
14.
This car seat is not designed for longer periods of sleeping. If
your child need to sleep, then he or she should be placed in
a suitable cot or bed.
The use of accessories not approved by Brevi srl or by the retailer
could be dangerous.
FINAL CHECK
1.
Verify the correct position of the safety belt of the vehicle
around the car seat.
2.
Always verify that the safety belt of the vehicle is not inserted
in some way or entangled.
3.
Verify the correct tension of the safety belt of the vehicle and
that the car seat KIO Brevi is correctly fixed to the vehicle
seat.
4.
Check regularly all important parts for possible damage.
5.
Check the correct operation of all components.
6.
Check that the child seat does not get jammed in the car door,
seat runners, etc., in order to prevent breakage, damage, we-
aring etc;
To remember: Even though being projected and in compliance
according to the European standards, if the seat auto is installed
in incorrect way, it might not guarantee the correct protection of
your child in case of accident. Before using the car seat KIO Brevi,
always check all the final controls listed in this user manual.

Before putting the child in the car seat always check that KIO Bre-
vi is also positioned correctly when it has been left fixed to the
seat of the vehicle.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Warning: Never lubrificate any component of your child seat,
just keep it nice and clean. Consult the fabric label sewn onto the
product for washing instructions. Clean the plastic parts periodi-
cally with a damp cloth. Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to
sun rays, which could cause changes in colours of both materials
and fabrics.
To avoid danger of suffocation remove this plastic cover before
using this article. This cover shall be destroyed or kept away from
children.

Der Autokindersitz KIO Brevi ist gemäß ECE R44/04 für die Grup-
pe 1, für Kinder mit einem Gewicht von 9-18 kg zugelassen.
Alle angegebene Alter sind annähernd, weil die Kinder auf ver-
schiedene Art und Weise wachsen, deswegen ist das Gewicht der
einzige Anzeiger von Bezug.
WARNUNG

Es handelt sich um eine "universale" Rückhaltevorrichtung für
Kinder mit Prüfsiegel gemäß der Vorschrift Nr. 44, Abände-
rungen des Serie 04. Sie ist für den allgemeinen Einsatz in
Fahrzeugen geeignet und an die meisten, aber nicht mit allen,
Fahrzeugsitzen anschließbar.

Die perfekte Eignung ist noch einfacher zu erhalten, wenn der
Autohersteller in seinem Fahrzeughandbuch erklärt hat, dass
das Fahrzeug für den Einbau von "universalen" Rückhaltevor-
richtungen für Kinder in betreffendem Alter geeignet ist.

Die Rückhaltevorrichtungen werden als „universal" klassifi-
ziert. Dies auf Grund der strengeren Prüfungskriterien als bei
vorangehenden Modellen, die den vorliegenden Hinweis nicht
besitzen.

In Zweifelsfällen wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller der Vor-
richtung oder an den Wiederverkäufer.
Nur geeignet für Fahrzeuge mit 3-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt, die nach
UN/CEE NR.16 oder einem vergleichbaren Standard geprüft und
zugelassen sind.
