TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before asking for repairs, conduct your own inspection
first. If you find a problem that is not explained in the
Malfunction status
Motor does not run.
Motor stops running after a little use.
It does not reach maximum RPM.
Cutting tool does not rotate:
stop the machine immediately!
Abnormal vibration:
stop the machine immediately!
Cutting tool and motor cannot stop:
Remove the battery immediately!

Cause
Battery cartridge is not installed.
Battery problem (under voltage)
The drive system does not work
correctly.

Foreign object such as a branch is
jammed between the guard and the
nylon cutting head or cutter blade.
Cutter blade fastening nut is loose.
The cutter blade is bended.
The drive system does not work
correctly.
One of nylon cord has been broken
and the head got unbalanced.
The cutter blade is bended, cracked or
worn.
Cutter blade fastening nut is loose.
Cutter blade is fastened improperly.
The drive system does not work
correctly.
Electric or electronic malfunction.

Noise
The typical A-weighted noise level determined according
to ISO22868:
The noise level under working may exceed 80 dB (A).
Vibration
The vibration emission value determined according to
ISO22867, EN786:
Install the battery cartridge.
Recharge the battery. If recharging is
not effective, replace battery.
Ask your local authorized service
center for repair.
Change the direction of rotation with
the reversing switch.
Recharge the battery. If recharging is
not effective, replace battery.
Stop using of tool to allow it to cool
down.
Install the battery cartridge as
described in this manual.
Recharge the battery. If recharging is
not effective, replace battery.
Ask your local authorized service
center for repair.
Remove the foreign object.
Tighten the nut properly as described
in this manual.
Replace the cutter blade.
Ask your local authorized service
center for repair.
Bump the nylon cutting head against
the ground while it is rotating to cause
the cord to feed.
Replace the cutter blade.
Tighten the nut properly as described
in this manual.
Ask your local authorized service
center for repair.
Remove the battery and ask your local
