6. Starting-Up
• Connecting the endoscope with the battery
handle: Plug-in endoscope and let lock in
place
(bayonet catch).
• Push in the switch

ring to the left. The light can be
regulated continuously until the maximum posi-
tion "1" is reached.
• Detaching the endoscope from the battery han-
dle: Turn the knurled ring
limit stop is reached and pull out endoscope.
7. Operation
• The included HAZET battery handle with AV
bayonet catch serves as power supply.
• Adjust picture sharpness with one hand at the
eyepiece
. With the other hand, guide the
endoscope probe to the area to be explored.
• Once the eyepiece is adjusted, the distance to
the object can be changed within a large area
without necessity to readjust. Please observe
that the more the distance between probe and
object grows, the more the magnification will
decrease.
• For the protection of the endoscope probe
always screw on the protection sleeve or even-
tually use the side view adapter (see acces-
sories).
• Notice: The flexible image conductor consists
of several thousands of single fibres. Isolated,
black points are due to fibre breaks and cannot
be avoided even in a meticulous manufacturing
process.
8. Bulb Change
• For changing the bulb, pull it out by the
collar
.
