INTENDED USE

• This device is designed to control the intensity of LED lighting in marine applications.
• Once connected to the system (i.e., to the power supply, the lights, the buttons and/or the serial line), the dimmer pack lets
you turn on, turn off or adjust the intensity of 4 lines (channels) of LED lighting, using either the buttons or the serial line.
• For fire-prevention reasons, install the dimmer pack in a ventilated, controlled-temperature environment, protected from
dust and humidity. Do not expose the dimmer pack to rain or humidity.
• Any other use should be considered improper and unpredictable.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The dimmer lets you change the intensity of 2 lines of LED lights (such as LED strips and lighting devices with integrated
driver), independently, using the 2 respective inputs (buttons).
More devices can be connected by means of a serial line, for a customized inputs' control.
Each channel is protected and can handle a maximum current of 4A.
The unit's operation is shown by the input, output and power supply LEDs.
INSTALLATION
• The dimmer pack can be easily mounted on a DIN rail. Install the device on a vertical surface for better ventilation.
• Install the dimmer pack inside a power distribution panel, adequately protected so that:
- the device works in the required operating conditions.
- the device cannot be accessed by unauthorized personnel.
• Always disconnect the power supply when installing or servicing the dimmer pack.
• Make the connections following the best practices, using cable of adequate type and size that are appropriate for the
environment conditions.
• Critically inspect your work immediately after installing or servicing the dimmer pack.
• Turn on the power, MAKE SURE THE POLARITY IS RIGHT, make sure the "PWR" LED is illuminated.
OPERATION
The unit lets you change the intensity of 2 lines of LED lights, by directly regulating the power supply (2-cable connection)
or by sending a separate control signal (3-cable connection). This option is selectable by DIP switch.
• Dip-switch 1 ON: channel 1 controls 3-cable lights
• Dip-switch 1 OFF: channel 1 controls 2-cable lights
• Dip-switch 2 ON: channel 2 controls 3-cable lights
• Dip-switch 2 OFF: channel 2 controls 2-cable lights
