d. Connecting a single monitor
1. Using one monitor the MOMBO operates as a single 2-wire door control
2. The adaptation terminal (fig 2-15) is connected behind the monitor
e. Connecting two monitors (fig. 7)
1. If an extra monitor is added, the adaptation terminal (fig. 2-15) is connected to the second monitor and removed
from the first monitor (fig. 7)
2. Both monitors are identical
3. In the event of a call from the outside station, the outside images are shown on both monitors at once.
4. If one of the 2 monitors answers first, the other is automatically stopped (no sound received, no images received,
no conversation possible with the outside, all opening controls are deactivated)
5. With 2 monitors the intercom is possible ( conversation between the two monitors)
f. Intercom scenario
a. Monitor1 (MN1) calls Monitor2 (MN2) using the intercom button
b. If there is no answer from MN2 after 30 seconds the call is ended
c. To cancel the call before the 30 seconds are up (before MN2 answers), press the conversation button
d. To answer, MN2 presses the conversation button
e. The conversation lasts 30 seconds (no extended conversation)
f. MN1 or MN2 can stop the conversation by pressing the conversation button
g. It is not possible to use the door or gate opening controls when the intercom is active
h. The intercom between the two monitors can only be audio (impossible to have outside images when the inter-
com is being used)
i. A call from the outside station has priority over the intercom: during use of the intercom, a call from the outside
station cuts the communication between the 2 monitors and the images from the outside station are shown on
both monitors
