2.2. Intended use
A shower stool supports independent show-
ering when physical restrictions which make
it difficult to stand safely in the shower.
2.3. Indications
Use of the shower aid is advisable if you have difficulty standing up or remaining standing
due to
• Damage to the functionality of the
lower extremities with limited or failing
mobility and muscle strength (e.g. loss
of strength through malignant diseases,
chronic, advanced cardiovascular and
pulmonary diseases) and/or
• Damage to the vestibular functions or

Use of the shower stool is not advisable for individuals with:
• Perceptual disorders,
• Balance disorders,
