Thank you for choosing Ferplast. BLUMODULAR is a
new product by Ferplast, the world for small animals that is
safe, stylish, innovative, and high quality that fully respects
the life and health of fish and plants. BLUMODULAR filters
already have everything they need to function properly.
Every component is type-approved and conforms to relative
international standards on safety.

PRELIMINARY WARNINGS

Before carrying out any operation, please
read the information below carefully
to protect your safety and to prevent
damage to the product.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on
the device corresponds with the mains
voltage.
• Make sure that your home is protected
by residual current circuit breaker with a
tripping current no higher than 30 mA.
• Do not connect the filter to the mains
before completing the installation
operations (including filling of the tank).
• The filter is for indoor use.
• Before carrying out maintenance
operations, disconnect all of the
underwater electrical devices from the
mains.
• Run the BLUMODULAR filter so that
its pump is always at least partially
underwater.
• When connecting the filter to the power
supply, ensure that the lowest point of
the cable is lower than the electrical
socket so that drops of water do not
accidentally run down the cable and
into the power supply (Fig. B).
• The power supply cable has Z-type
wiring, so it cannot be repaired or
replaced: If damaged, have the entire
device replaced.
• Periodically verify that the filter's intake
grilles are never completely obstructed.
• The water temperature must not exceed
35° C.
• This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
• Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning
maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8 years.
IMPORTANT - Within the European Union, a
crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the product,
documentation or packaging indicates that the
product cannot be disposed of in the regular household waste
stream, in compliance with EU Directive 2012/19/EC and with
current local regulations. The product must be disposed of
at recycling centres or authorised waste disposal centres
for electrical and electronic equipment, in accordance with
current legislation in the country where the product is found.
Incorrect disposal of this type of waste can have a negative
