STEAM FLOW CONTROL:
- You can regulate the temperature (E) and the
steam flow (N). To regulate the steam, we use
ECO to reduce energy consumption while
maintaining the quality of ironing, or the MAX
position for maximum steam flow.
VERTICAL IRONING:
- You can also iron hanging curtains, items of
clothing on a hanger, etc. To do so, follow these
instructions:
- Select the maximum temperature of the iron by
turning the temperature regulator in a clock-
wise direction.
- Move the iron in a top to bottom direction while
pressing the steam control (C ). Important: for
cotton and linen, it is recommended to keep the
bottom of the iron in contact with the material.
For other more delicate fabrics, it is recom-
mended to keep the bottom of the iron a few
centimetres away.
ANTI-SCALE FILTER:
- Replace the anti-scale filter after every 6
months of continuous use for proper opera-
tion. Adjust the new cartridge in its housing.
Use demineralised water to continue using an
exhausted cartridge.
SELF-CLEANING
- Make sure there is enough water in the tank
before cleaning.
- Place the iron in a safe position to prevent
burns from hot water during cleaning, for exam-
ple, over the sink or a container to collect the
water and dirt.
- Once the appliance is heated (the temperature
at point 1), press the cleaning switch for 5-6
seconds to connect the iron in cleaning mode.
The indicator flashes. Fig.5
- The cleaning process completes in two min-
utes.
- If you want to stop the process, unplug the
appliance
* Repeat the cleaning process at least twice.
** We recommend cleaning once a month to
prolong the service life of the iron. If the water in
your area is very hard or you notice scale coming
out through the bottom plate during ironing, use
this cleaning function more often.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
