Fit the dust bag (8/Figure 1) on the dust outlet (5/
Figure 1 ) or connect a vacuum extractor.
Empty the dust bag when suction is not sufficient.

8.1
SWITCHING oN/oFF (FIG.1)
• Plug the tool in.
• Press the oN/oFF switch (1/Figure 1). To stop the
tool, release the switch.
• For continuous operation, press the oN/ oFF switch
(1/Figure 1) and then press the lock on button
(2/Figure 1).
• To stop the tool, press the oN/oFF switch (1/Figure 1)
again.
8.2
HoLDING AND GUIDING THE TooL
• Before operating handle the tool firmly with both
hands. Keep up the tool when switch on.
• Guide the tool parallel o the working surface
• Do not apply pressure on the tool; let the sanding
surface do the work for you.
• Do not tilt the tool in order to avoid unwanted
sanding marks
• Keep the ventilation slots uncovered

• Use different grit sizes when the working surface is
rough:
• Start sanding with coarse or medium grit, finish with
fine grit
• Newer use the same sanding belt for wood and
metal
• For sanding bare wood surfaces move the tool in
straight movements in line with the grain.
• For sanding large surfaces always use the sanding
frame in order to avoid an uneven surface.
•
If the sanding belt slides out (3) adjust the cantering
by rotating the knob (4).
NOTE: consult your dealer for further information on
the appropriate accessories.
10 MAINTENANCE
• Keep your machine and its cable clean.
! Some maintenance products and solvents may
damage the plastic parts; these include products
containing benzene, trichloroethylene, chloride and
ammonia.
• Excessive sparking generally indicates the presence
of dir t in the motor or abnormal wear on the
carbons.
• Take special care to keep the ventilation inlets/outlets
sufficiently clean; cleaning with a soft brush followed
by a compressed air jet will usually be sufficient to
ensure acceptable internal cleanliness.
• Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.

SERVICING AND REPAIRS
If servicing is required, contact one of our listed service
centres. It is forbidden and dangerous to perform any
individual work on the tool.
! have the tool repaired by authorized persons.
In case you buy spare parts in a shop, contact an
authorized service centre and have them assembled. In
case of non-compliance with the operating instructions
and instructions regarding servicing and repairs, the
producer is not held responsible for the damage caused
on property or personal injuries, and the user looses
all rights to guarantee.
! Any repairs of the tool in unauthorized service
centres is performed at own responsibility.
! The owner of the tool is responsible for all works
on the tool that were not performed in authorized
service centres, and therefore he looses the claim
for guarantee.
