Storage
Disconnect the device from the mains power when it is not going to be used for a prolonged
period. Clean the device again if necessary (see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter) and let it dry
completely.
For practical storage, the frothing spiral (8) and the stirring insert (9) can be inserted in the
recesses on the bottom of the base station (3) (Picture
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct
sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact our customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device cannot be
switched on.
The fuse in the fuse box
is triggered.
The programme is
aborted. / The LED
ring (5) fl ashes red.
Milk runs out of the
milk jug.
During use, an
unpleasant smell is
detected.
Possible cause
The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the plug socket.
The plug socket is defective.
There is no mains voltage.
Too many devices connected to
the same circuit.
The milk jug (6) has been
removed from the base
station (3) during operation.
There is too much milk in the
milk jug.
The device is being used for the
fi rst time.

Fix
Correct the fi t of the mains plug.
Try another plug socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Reduce the number of devices in
the circuit.
Place the milk jug back into the
base station. The LED ring goes
out. Start the programme you
want again.
Do not overfi ll the milk jug!
A smell often develops when
new devices are fi rst used. The
smell disappears once the device
has been used several times.
