6.8 LED lamp (Fig. 8)
The LED lamp (10) can be used in poor lighting
conditions to illuminate the area where you want to
drill or screw. You can switch on the LED lamp by
pressing the button (11). Pressing the button (11)
again will switch off the LED lamp (10).
6.9 Changing the tool (Fig. 9)
Important! Set the changeover switch (3) to its
centre position whenever you carry out any work (for
example changing the tool, maintenance work, etc.)
on the cordless screwdriver.
The cordless screwdriver is fitted with a quick-
action chuck (9) with an automatic spindle stop.
Open the chuck (9). The chuck opening (a) must
be large enough to hold the tool (drill bit or
screwdriver bit).
Select the suitable tool. Push the tool as far as
possible into the chuck opening (a).
Tighten the chuck (9) and then check that the
tool is secure.
6.10 Magnetic screw holder (Fig. 10/Item 12)
Screws can be placed in easy reach on the magnetic
screw holder (12).
6.11 Removing / fitting the cover (Fig. 11/Item 13)
Turn the cover (13) as shown in Figure 11 and
remove it.
Fit the cover (13) by following the above in reverse.
Important!
The machine must not be used without the cover
/ bit magazine.
6.12 Bit magazine (Fig. 12/Item 14)
When you have removed the cover (13), you can fit
the bit magazine (14) on the cordless screwdriver.
Place the bit magazine (14) on the cordless
screwdriver and secure it by turning it clockwise.
To remove the bits, you must press the knob (a) and
turn the housing (b).
6.13 Screwdriving
We recommend using self-centering screws (e.g.
Torx screws, recessed head screws) designed for
reliable working. Be sure to use a bit that matches
the screw in shape and size. Set the torque, as
described elsewhere in these operating instructions,
to suit the size of screw.
